America House Chisinau is launching a VIDEO CONTEST for World Teacher’s Day that is celebrated on October 5th each year. We are all thankful for the education that we got from our teacher, aren’t we? In 2020, World Teachers’ Day will celebrate teachers by highlighting the following topic: “Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future”.

UNESCO mentions that “The issue of teacher leadership in relation to crisis responses is not just timely, but critical in terms of the contributions teachers have made to provide remote learning, support vulnerable populations, re-open schools, and ensure that learning gaps have been mitigated.”

This is a call for all, teachers and students, to elaborate a short video that will address the role of teachers in building resilience and shaping the future of education, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can send your video as an mp4 or as a link. You can be alone in your video or you can invite your students to participate. The three most creative and amazing videos will be awarded. GOOD LUCK!
