The Government of Japan (the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology: MEXT) offers scholarships to international students who wish to study at universities in Japan as Japanese studies students, in the framework of the Scholarship Program for 2022.

The applications should be submitted to the Embassy of Japan in Moldova no later than Friday, January 28, 2022. Applications sent by e-mail will not be accepted.

All application documents will be examined by the Embassy. The shortlisted applicants will be invited to take written examinations. The subjects for written examinations are as indicated in the Program Guidelines. The date and the venue of the examinations to be planned in mid-February 2022, will be informed to the pre-selected applicants.
